Birthday Bash Turin Italy

Had a fantastic show in Turin, where at 12 midnight the audience along with Incognito, sang "Happy Birthday". Special shout out to Charlise, Vicki Vinci, Franca & Mario for cakes and champs!!!!!!! Awaiting treats from Hubby......the evening has only just begun............... :-)

Nova Festival - Baden, Austria

Great show, crowd was bubbling, saw Gill Scott and Jamiroquai. Fantastic atmosphere back stage, hung out with some old friends, talked about music and love and life..........

Postive Vibration

This was the first Positive Vibration festival in Bialystok, Poland. Incognito was the headline band, played 3 songs for the first time from the new album "Transtlantic RPM. leaving for the airport, no sleep.... Maybe catch some zzzs on the bus, the plane, next hotel in Vienna.........

Distant Relatives

Have to say, loved the concert last night, Damian and Nas was firing to a packed out Hammersmith Apollo, the theme of the night that we are all distant relatives, Africa being the mother land. They performed my favourite track on the album "Dispear", it was wild, the backing singers, dancers were amazing. Both Nas and Damian, performed their own solo favourites, "Hate me now" etc, Damian of course threw down, "Welcome to Jamrock". The audience went wild with excitement!!

It was a beautifully mixed crowd at the Apollo, a very powerful scene, and the atmosphere was electric, music really does bring folks together. Damian and Nas are definitely continuing the legacy of Bob Marley, I was honoured to be there...........

Summer Is Here

Just logged on to itunes and you can now buy my track "Summer Is Here" It was randomly put forward for an early release...... God is good, this positive thinking really does work!!!!!!!!

I bought the album a while back, and I have to say I was hooked for a few weeks. I tried to buy tickets for the concert to surprise my husband who is a big fan of Nas, but could only get seated, and I knew Hubby would want to be at the front bubblin...... to the sounds. This morning got the good news.........Hubby's managed to get us 2 guest tickets for the show!!!!!!

Umbria Jazz - A Great Night!!!

Last nights show was fantastic, Incognito performed for the first time, with Mario Biondi three songs (2 from the forthcoming Incognito album "Transatlantic RPM" out 26 July!!!!!!!!!) I sang the duet with Mario Biondi, which he sings with Chaka Khan (one of my all time favourite singers)This is the first single from the album. We had a wonderful time even though we only played for an hour. This was my first Umbria Jazz festival and I was very impressed. Mario Biondi's set was very polished, with 2 bands on stage!!! jazz versus funk, very very cool.......great musicianship.....what a band, what a voice, backing singers tight, Samantha Iorio sang a duet with Mario which was very beautiful.....
It was a great night!!

Rehearsal

Just got back from rehearsing with Incognito, Mario Biondi's tunes sounding really nice. Paul Greenwood is back with Incog for a short while, and the band is sounding fat!!!

Leaving for the Umbria festival, I'm very excited, it is always a pleasure working in Italy, and this gig will be very special, as Incognito will be performing with Mario Biondi!!!!

Lugano

I just got back from Lugano yesterday with Incognito, beautiful weather, beautiful people, what a show. We played for over 2hrs and I must say I had a fantastic time. The band was tight with the return of Pete Biggin. Looking forward to the big one in 6 days!! Umbria jazz festival, with Mario Biondi!! Bye for now off to learn some new tunes!!!!!!!!!
